Hornet Middle Schoolers fall to Towanda

The Towanda Black Knights dealt Wellsboro their third loss by defeating Wellsboro, 30-6. Turnovers on fumbles cost the Middle School Hornets the game. The Towanda defense stifled the Hornet offense and turnovers gave them good field position to work with throughout the game. Tony Cooper scored the lone touchdown for the hornets on a long run.
The Hornet Middle School team will be back in action next Thursday night as they host Montgomery. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m.
