Northern Potter tops Wellsboro, 3-2

Senior Darby Alafoginis recorded his 50th carrer goal in a 3-2 loss to Northern Potter. The Hornets played a very tough, physical game, but came up short on the road. Junior Spencer Kreisler scored his first varsity goal in the 27th minute and Darby added his goal at the 55 minute mark on a penalty kick.
With the loss, the Hornets drop to 5-3-1 overall and 5-2 in the NTL West.
In JV action, the Hornets lost by a final score of 2-1. Freshman Chris Perednia scored the only Hornet goal. The team will be back in action Saturday, October 8 as they host the Sayre Redskins at 10:00 a.m.
