Troy blanks Wellsboro

The Troy Trojans blanked Wellsboro, 2-0, Friday night in Troy. Louisa Shedden had a goal 10 minutes into the first half for Troy while Emily Hunsicker put the game away with a goal halfway through the second half. Senior Goalie Sherri Hovis made six saves for Wellsboro.
With the loss, the Hornets drop to 5-6. In JV action, the Trojans shut out Wellsboro 4-0. The Hornets will be in action on Monday, October 3, as they host Williamson.
