Girls tennis falls to Towanda, 5-2

The Wellsboro girls tennis team fell to Towanda 5-2 last night on the road.

Kaylyn Forbes def. Franciszka Lupkowski 6-1, 6-2
Doubles Results
Evans/Quimby def. Hallabuk/Chaffee 3-6, 6-4 (10-8)
Acorn/Rogers def. Hoffman/Place 6-1, 6-3
With the loss, the Hornets fall to 5-8 overall (2-8 NTL). The team will be back in action on Wednesday, October 3 as they travel to Liberty.
