"The boys played very well in tough conditions today," said head coach John Shaffer. "There were large chunks of the game with great movement and passing. As a coach I'm very proud of how the boys have responded to the difficult stretch they went through in the middle of the year. The team is starting to really hit their best form heading into districts."

In the JV game the Hornets lost 4-3 to end their season at 6-2-4. The win improves the Varsity team's record to 13-5 (13-5 NTL).

Junior Lindsey Graver scored the first of her two goals in the 30th minute and then later scored on a penalty kick to give the Hornets the victory.
