Hornet Volleyball beats CV, 3-0

The Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team beat Cowanesque Valley 3-0 in their final regular season game.
The Lady Hornets won 25-20, 25-23, and 25-19 for the non-league victory. Senior Danielle Mihalik led the team with 14 points, 8 kills, 2 blocks, and 13 digs. Senior Peyton Wilson scored 10 points, 15 assists, and 15 digs, Junior Darci Warriner recorded 11 kills and 13 digs, and Senior Paige Carr had 13 digs.
Senior Jordan Butters had 3 kills and Sophomore Morgan Florio had 7 points, 4 blocks, 6 assists, and 4 digs.
In the JV game, the Hornets won 2-0 (25-13, 25-8) to finish the year 16-2. The Varsity team finishes the regular season 12-6 (5-5 NTL Division 1).
