Hornets compete at State Track and Field Meet

Members of the Wellsboro Varsity track team competed at the PIAA State Championships on Friday, May 24 and Saturday, May 25.
The girls 4x100m relay team of Junior Lauren Bleggi and Sophomores Lindsey Graver, Raisa Rogers, and Jada Jackson ran a 51.51, good for 4th in their heat, but just missed qualifying for the finals.
Senior Joey Doganiero finished 3rd in his heat of the 400m run at 50.99, just missing out on qualifying for finals, and Jackson finished 9th in the triple jump at 35' 10.5".
