Hornet tennis shuts out Liberty

The Wellsboros Boys Tennis team picked up their first win of the season as they shut out Liberty 7-0 Wednesday, April 15.

"It was a sweet victory today over a similar team in terms of experience and the size of team," said head coach Margery Hoffman. "The Wellsboro team kept their composure and won the majority of the deuce games."
With the win, the Hornets improve to 1-5 (1-3 NTL). The team will be back in action today as they host a double-header with Liberty.
