The Wellsboro Boys Basketball team ended their three-game losing streak, but struggled in a 47-42 win over Liberty on Saturday, January 16.

The Hornets jumped out to an early 18-5 lead after the first and outscored Liberty 10-2 in the second quarter to take a 27-10 halftime lead, but Liberty came out strong in the second half and scored 18 points in the third quarter to trail by 36-28 entering the fourth quarter.

Liberty kept up the scoring in the fourth quarter, and coupled with Wellsboro turnovers, took the lead late in the game.
