Fleming named AA All-State Player of the Year by PA Football Writers.

Fleming named AA All-State Player of the Year by PA Football Writers.
 

Southern Columbia wide receiver Julian Fleming was named the Class AA All-State Player of the Year by the PA Football Writers on Monday, December 18.

Fleming caught 69 passes for 1,462 yards and 20 touchdowns to lead the Tigers to an undefeated season and a record 8th PIAA title.

Southern Columbia head coach Jim Roth was named Coach of the Year.

Joining Fleming and Coach Roth on the AA All-State team are teammates Stone Hollenbach (QB), Gaige Garcia (RB), Andrew Bell (OL), Elijah Hoffman (Specialist), Tyler Bendas (DL), and Cal Haladay (LB).

In addition to the Tigers' 7 All-State picks, 12 members from PIAA District IV were named to the AA, AAAA, and AAAAAA teams.

In Class AA, South Williamsport's Gideon Green (RB) and Ben Johnson (OL), Wellsboro's Quinn Henry (ATH), and Mount Carmel's Manus McCracken (LB) made the team.

In Class AAAA Selinsgrove's Logan Leiby (QB) Jarrett Inch (WR), and Clayton Sheesley (LB), Jersey Shore's Dominic Williams (LB), and Shikellamy's Gabe Tilford (LB) were selected.

In Class AAAAAA Williamsport's Joe Fagnano (QB), Ethen Stryker (TE), and Kurt Danneker (OL) were picked.
