Selinsgrove boys drop league opener

SELINSGROVE — Selinsgrove got off to a quick start in its Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference Division I opener.
Ivan DeJesus and Brett Foor combined for nine of the Seals' 11 first-quarter points as Selinsgrove opened up a five-point advantage.
The second half didn't go quite as well.
Shamokin outscored Selinsgrove, 26-13, in the second half as the Indians picked up a 45-32 win.
Matt Schicchitano and Joey Masser combined for 35 points in Shamokin's win.
Foor led the Seals (1-2 overall, 0-1 HAC-I) with 12 points. DeJesus finished with nine points.
