NEB tops Canton, 9-1 on the softball diamond

Canton softball fell 9-1 to NEB in NTL softball action.
Allyson Butcher (1-for-3) had an RBI double, with Emmi Ward (1-for-3), Keri Wesneski (1-for-3), and Jillian Shay (1-for-3) also getting hits. Wesneski scored a run.
Shay took the loss, striking out two with 10 hits and nine runs, five of them earned.
