Selinsgrove bounces back from league loss

SELINSGROVE - Selinsgrove held Miffinburg's Ella Shuck eight points under her scoring average, and survived a last-second Wildcats' scoring opportunity to hold off Mifflinburg, 26-24.
Avery DeFazio and Kristin Shaffer drew the assignment in a box-and-one defense on Shuck, and the Mifflinburg guard scored 11 points, eight points under her average of 18 points in the game.
Cierra Adams and Murphy O'Brien each scored six points to lead the Seals (7-2 overall, 5-1), which dropped its first league game of the season on the road at Jersey Shore on Saturday.
Mifflinburg drops to 4-4, 4-3.
