Wellsboro's Leach gets 50th assist in win over Millville.

MILLVILLE — Wellsboro rallied to beat Millville 2-1 in non-league boys' soccer action Monday as Gabe Leach earned his 50th career assist.

The Quakers struck first less than five minutes in on a header off a corner kick to take the lead.

Then with 25:18 left in the first half Tanner Runyan tied it up on a direct kick.

Leach then got his 50th assist as he found Cam Tennis on a header with 21:04 left in the game to put the Hornets up for good.

"What a great game tonight," Wellsboro coach John Shaffer said. "I'm so proud of the boys tonight. We went down 1-nil inside the first 10 minutes and it was the first time we trailed all year. The boys were very resilient. We really dominated the last 70 minutes of the game. The defense was so good tonight, we limited them to four shots and only one in the last 70 minutes."

Williamson 5, Troy 2

The Warriors broke open a 1-1 game with four goals in the second half to pick up the NTL boys' soccer win Monday.

Williamson opened the scoring with 27:48 left as Simon Fish scored. Nat Graybill tied it up just before the half off a Kris DeLosa assist.

Then in the second half, Fish added three more goals with Sam Fish also netting one.

Troy's Alex Johnson scored on a penalty kick just before time expired to make it a 5-2 final.

The Warriors out shot Troy 19-15 while the Trojans had a 10-7 edge in corner kicks.

Troy's Josh Nowacoski made 12 stops in goal while Williamson's Justin Robbins had four saves.

Sullivan County 4, Muncy 0

Yasler Montero-Salas had two goals for the Griffins in their Mid-Penn boys' soccer win Monday.

Lucas Shultz started the scoring off a Colton Ammerman assist eight minutes in followed by Montero-Salas's first goal in the 18th minute.

Two minutes later, Brian Lewis scored to make it 3-0 at the half.

In the second half, Montero-Salas got his second goal off a Trace Neary helper.

Sullivan had a 22-3 edge in shots and 5-2 edge in corner kicks as Donald Miley had three saves.

Sullivan has a big match-up against Benton on Wednesday.

Galeton 6, Sayre 2

Isaiah Shuemaker had a hat trick to lead the Tigers to an NTL boys' soccer victory Monday.

Julian Martinez, Joel Griffen and Jake Cochran also had goals for Galeton. Griffen, Cochran and Anthony Ward each had an assist.

Jordan Rockwell had a goal and an assist for Sayre with Cody Vanbenthuysen also scoring.

Galeton out shot Sayre 23-9 while Sayre had a 6-4 edge in corner kicks.

Brandon Ruef made seven saves for Galeton while Camden Wheeler had 13 for Sayre.

The Tigers host Wellsboro Wednesday.

North Penn-Liberty 8, Towanda 0

Luke Yoder had a hat trick as the Mountaineers picked up the NTL boys' soccer win.

Cooper Baumangartner also had two goals with Ted Reynolds, Nathaniel Johnson and Jason Kshir scoring as well.

Johnson added five assists while Riley Walker, Kshir and Johnny Nelson also had assists.

NP-Liberty out shot Towanda 29-11 while Towanda had a 2-1 edge in corner kicks.

Jared McNeal made 14 saves in goal for the Knights while Walker had 11 saves.
