Towanda blanked Cowanesque Valley 7-0 in NTL boys' tennis action Tuesday.

At first singles Ryan Risch won over Sterling Jolly 6-1, 6-0 while at second singles Demetrius Hill beat Logan Dibble 6-1, 6-0.

At third singles Noah Poll defeated Aaron Ackley 6-0, 6-0, at fourth singles Tim Morrison topped Kenny Waterson 6-3, 6-1 and at fifth singles Zane Potter won over Jackson Pritchard 6-0, 6-0.

At first doubles Jonothan Hoffman and Django Yrigollen defeated Jolly and Ackley 6-3, 6-2 while at second doubles Dalton Carey and David Boardman topped Dibble and Waterson 6-1, 6-0.

The Knights improve to 8-6 on the year.

Lansing 7, Waverly 0

The Wolverines were swept in IAC boys' tennis action Tuesday.

Hunter Heath lost to Zoli Cxaki 6-2, 6-0 while Jose Garcia fell to Nick Parkes 6-0, 6-0. Seth Lloyd was beaten by Anders Gartenberg 6-1, 6-0 and Kaleb Ennis lost to Darius Desnoes 6-0, 6-0.

At first doubles Tyler Brooks and Zack Baldwin fell to Josh Zajac and Jacob Williamson 6-0, 6-0, at second doubles Haley Onofre and Collin Keefer was beaten by Emma Waldman and Julian Tornusciolo 6-0, 6-0 and at third doubles Theresa Kraus and Siara Tompkins lost to Alexander Rose and Kyle Romeo 6-1, 6-0.

North Penn-Liberty 6, CV 1

The Mountaineers got to .500 with a win in NTL boys' tennis action.

NPL took all five singles matches: Zach Fetzer beat Sterling Jolly 6-1, 6-0, Zach Roupp won over Logan Diddle 6-2, 1-6, 6-4, Casey Amaral defeated Arch Ackley 7-6, 4-6, 6-3, River Hicks-Lee topped Jackson Pritchard 6-1, 6-2 and Patric Schon beat Ken Waterson 7-5, 1-6, 6-4.

The Mountaineers also won the first doubles match as Fetzer and Roupp defeated Jolly and Dibble 10-1.

CV took the second doubles match with Pritchard and Ackley beating Horsley and Nick Lowry 10-3.

NPL improves to 3-3 on the season.
