Amended Mitigation Order - Occupancy Limits Revised

This morning Governor Wolf announced some changes in the spectator limits that will have an impact upon member schools, leagues, conferences and Districts hosting athletic events.

Third Circuit Coirt of Appeals - Stay Order on Gatherings

This afternoon we received information that the Third Circuit Court of Appeals issued a stay of Judge Stickman\'s decision striking the Governor\'s COVID-19 restrictions in several areas. The most important for our purposes is the limitation on gatherings.

August 21 PIAA Board of Directors Meeting

The PIAA Board of Directors voted this afternoon to permit fall sports to begin on Monday, August 24th, based on local school decisions.

August 7 PIAA Board of Directors Meeting

The PIAA Board of Directors met this afternoon to review Governor Wolf’s statement strongly recommending no interscholastic and recreational sports until January 1st.
