The 2020 District IV Cross Country meet will be held at Warrior Run High School on Thursday, October 29, 2020. The meet site has been selected by the District Chairman and approved by the District Committee. The meet will be run on this day regardless of weather.

Race Day Information
Time schedule is as follows:
- 9:00 am - A Girls
- 10:30 am - A Boys
- 12:00 pm - AA Girls
- 1:30 pm - AA Boys
Please do not arrive earlier than 60 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. We need to keep crowd gathering to a minimum so athletes that will be competing will be permitted on or around the course. We realize boys and girls runners will be arriving on the same bus. Those not competing must remain on (or near) the bus and keep social distanced from other teams until it is their time to warm up. Keep in mind, Warrior Run does have a school that day so we need to respect and adhere to these guidelines.
Tents will be permitted and the map (above) shows where athletes will be dropped off and where buses will be parked. Teams will be directed where to set tents up.
We do, however, ask that parents and teams don’t linger after their races and please exit the facility as quickly as possible. Parents/spectators still need to leave immediately following the completion of their races. Teams will need to clean up/pack up and leave as quickly as possible following their race.
Below are the classifications based on what has been reported by PIAA. If you see a discrepancy, PLEASE let me know before the day of the race. Otherwise, the class listed is the race you will be placed in.
Timing system will be handled by Run High again this year. Online registration will be the same as in years past. Registration instructions are attached. The Deadline for registration will be Sunday, October 25 at 5:00 p.m.
There will be NO course walk this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, so please share the map with your runners.
This year, District IV will qualify only the championship teams in each class and the top five (5) finishing individuals not on that team to the PIAA State Championships (except Class AA Girls which will receive an extra individual qualifier). For that reason we will only be giving medals to the following for each class:
- Championship Team Plaque
- Ten (10) Team Champions Medals
- One (1) individual race winner medal
- One (1) individual race runner-up medal
- Five (5) State Qualifier Medals (Class AA Girls will have six (6) individual state qualifiers)
We will not do an awards ceremony this year in an effort to avoid crowd gathering. Medals will be distributed to coaches following each race to give to your athletes.
PIAA Championship Meet
The PIAA State Championships will be held on Saturday, November 7 in Hershey. Information for the state meet is still being worked on and will be provided when released.
Also due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions on social distancing, we will be permitting only TWO (2) spectators per runner. Spectators will need to remain in their vehicles until 15 minutes before the start of the race and will need to exit the facility immediately following the race.
ALL spectators are required to wear a facemask and social distance at ALL times while on site. NO EXCEPTIONS.
